<!-- Use this "lead" section to provide some basic information about the place (like the first paragraph or two from the about page on a website). --> [[Cereal Box Studio]] (Julia Warner & Eric Blyth) started as a daydream: the idea of an umbrella that would shelter all of our varied projects, friends, and collaborations in one place. It is now a design studio, small press, and print shop from which we can publish and share the work of our friends and creative community. In 2015, having recently concluded the final issues of MudThroat Records with submissions from friends and family, Julia was looking for ways to continue creating small editions and sharing multiples. That year she co-founded Materialist Press with Ariel Resnikoff and Livingston Miller, publishing two compilations of poetry in collaboration with Kelly Writers House at UPenn. In late 2018, Julia decided to start Cereal Box Studio and folded Materialist Press projects into the mix. The next year, Julia and Eric purchased two risograph printers from a print shop outside Lincoln, NE and carted them back across the Midwest to their new home in Cincinnati, OH. After a year in a small Northside studio, and a couple years in their basement, Cereal Box now lives at Essex Studios in Walnut Hills serving as a design studio and book-making space. {{Inventory}} <!-- Displays the inventory of inks + machines. -->
