The Experimental Methods and Media Lab (EMM Lab) is led by Dr. Anne Pasek, the Canada Research Chair in Media, Culture, and the Environment, at Trent University's Traill College. It supports research-creation, arts-based research, critical making practices, creative science communication, and other forms of inquiry at the university that employ more than discursive methods in social scientific and humanistic research. With close affiliations to the Cultural Studies department, and with a mandate actively participate in Peterborough’s arts community, it facilitates access to media production equipment, peer expertise, and creative collaboration.
