A print shop in Detroit, MI that focuses on equitable and sustainable practices in art & design.
Small Works started as a workshop put on at Teikaut, designed to bring people into Detroit and to foster the printing practices. This part of the practice grew to become its own space, eventually moving to Jefferson Ave. in 2021. Small Works has Risograph, Letterpress, and Bookbinding, and Zine production areas with open studio access 4 days a week. There are also classes for each area once a month.
