The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago is one of the worldโs largest museums dedicated to contemporary art. Here, the public can experience the work and ideas of living artists and understand the historical, social, and cultural context of the art of our time.[1]
The design studio at MCA used to use an MZ1090 to produce ephemera for use in the museum.[2] It printed:
- The MCA's monthly visitor guide, a one-color, two-sided, half-letter hand out that lists exhibitions and programs.
- Activity guides, a tabloid, folded down to eighths, with educational content corresponding to accompanying exhibitions.
- Education and teen program campaigns.
- In house design explorations, which usually result in posters or limited-edition prints.
