Hand Saw Press is the Risograph and Open D.I.Y.studio. We have two risograph machines (MD5650, ME935W) and some woodworking tools ( Hand Saw ) in our studio. We make zines, books, posters, furnitures, art pieces, event booths … and others things like this. We want to open our studio to everyone as much as possible. We hope it will be pratform for many artists and makers.
Hand Saw Press is a DIY space equipped with a Risograph printing press and woodworking tools and kitchen. Run by some people with different backgrounds and specialties—architect & owners of Jamaican restaurant Shinsuke Kanno (AM-A-LAB), Interior architect Ryoko Ando (design musica), and more. By opening up a place and tools to the community through making zines, printing posters and art books, and DIY, Hand Saw Press brings people, the city, and the world together.
Our studio  is located in  Nishi-Koyama in Tokyo. Maneged by unique members, Architect, Cooker,Interior designer,Illustratior. Studio has a small residency room, kitchen and bathroom. It is possible to stay for making risograph prints and some works.There is more one  studio in kyoto.( Hand saw press KYOTO)
