This is a glossary of terms commonly associated with stencil-based and Risograph printing. It aims to collect and present a concise list of terms used in communicating about this print method.

Stencil (Master)

1. A single-use screen or stencil with holes. Is filed under the category of pressure printing in printmaking. Stencils used inside the risograph are often called "masters".
