Quintal is a cheerful mix of things: a publishing house, a risograph print studio, and a bookstore—all under one roof in Ménilmontant, Paris, where we’ve been based for eight years now. Risograph printing is the heart of what we do. We print everything in-house, publish the artists we love, and distribute the books ourselves through our bookstore. It’s handmade, independent, and fueled by passion.
We focus on emerging French creators, with a strong taste for bold, experimental, and visually driven work. Our aim is to bring under-the-radar graphic practices to curious, open-minded readers. Publishing also gives us the perfect excuse to collaborate with type designers, graphic studios, and artists we admire. Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of working with brilliant voices from the French graphic design scene—Atelier Choque Le Goff, Atelier Pierre Pierre, Helmo, Fanette Mellier, and even the podcast series Graphic Matter.
