Publication Studio São Paulo has been active since 2015. Founded through an articulation between Todd Lanier Lester (Lanchonete.org) and the .Aurora space, PSSP was linked to Edições Aurora until 2018. Today, it is run by Laura Daviña, in collaboration with Livia Viganó and Marina Zilbersztejn.

PSSP is part of Casa do Povo, in the Bom Retiro neighborhood. The space works as a Parquinho Gráfico (Graphic Playground), where they take care of equipments for book production, an independent publications shop, a public reference library, and a workshop space for graphic experimentation.

Their focus is on collective publishing practices that explore sustainable ways to produce and circulate ideas, responding to social and political demands.

Since the beginning, they have collaborated with collectives, artists, social movements, and institutions. Frequent partners include: Acervo Bajubá, Casa 1, Casa do Povo, e/y traduções, Greta e JAMAC (Jardim Miriam Arte Clube).

Whenever possible, they handle all stages of bookmaking in-house — editing, design, printing, and finishing — ensuring editorial autonomy, valuing labor, and caring for the people involved in each publication.
